What clients ask us first

How much does a buyer's agent cost?

Our full-service fee is 1.5% of the purchase price + GST, formally documented via the Queensland Form 6 contract. For properties above $5M, the fee is capped at 1.5% of $5M — no further increase. Single-service work (negotiation-only, auction-only, etc.) is quoted separately. For most clients, the savings we negotiate alone cover our fee.

Do you accept commissions or kickbacks from sellers or developers?

Never. KT works exclusively for buyers — no commissions, kickbacks or referral fees from any third party. That's the core of our independence.

How long does the buying process take?

80% of KT clients complete the journey in 2–6 weeks. Sharper briefs in active sub-markets move faster; bespoke needs or quieter markets take longer. We never rush a transaction just to close one.

I've already found a property — can you just handle the negotiation?

Yes. We offer independent negotiation services covering valuation, risk assessment and full negotiation — no full search required.

Do you serve overseas and interstate clients?

Up to 70% of our clients are overseas PRs or interstate movers and investors. On your behalf we handle in-person inspections, video walk-throughs, contract review, building & pest, and pre-settlement checks — with bilingual support so language and time-zone are never barriers.
